ATF seeks a Supervisory Criminal Investigator to serve as Branch Chief in the Special Operations Division, Incident Support Branch. You will provide investigative expertise and oversee branch performance, guiding program goals and objectives.

You will develop branch policies, advise senior leadership, plan strategically, and coordinate with federal, state, and local partners to advance mission outcomes.

Qualificações

• Specialized experience required at GS-13 level by closing date.
• Experience must be in the normal line of progression or related to the advertised work.
• Knowledge of arrest and processing principles and handling of evidence.

Responsabilidades

• Develops and implements branch policies, practices, and procedures.
• Advises the deputy division chief and/or division chief on significant issues and matters pertaining to branch programs and projects.
• Responsible for assessing, developing, and evaluating program goals, needs, operations, and accomplishments.
• Conducts short- and long-range planning for overall branch goals and objectives in response to changes in funding levels, policy, or legislation.
• Coordinates projects/programs with management officials in other branches and divisions within the directorate and with DOJ and other agencies.
