A growing criminal defense firm in Little Rock is seeking a motivated Criminal Defense Attorney to join its team. You will handle misdemeanor and felony cases, develop courtroom and trial experience, and advocate for clients' rights in Arkansas state courts.

Requirements include a JD, Arkansas license in good standing, strong writing and oral communication, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor from an accredited law school.
• Active license to practice law in Arkansas in good standing.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Represent clients in misdemeanor and felony criminal cases
• Manage cases from initial consultation through final resolution
• Appear in court for arraignments, hearings, motions, plea negotiations, and trials
• Conduct legal research and prepare motions, briefs, pleadings, and other legal documents
• Review police reports, body-camera footage, witness statements, and other evidence
• Identify legal and factual issues and develop effective defense strategies
• Negotiate with prosecutors while remaining prepared to take cases to trial
• Communicate regularly with clients and explain legal options clearly
• Maintain accurate case files, deadlines, and court calendars
• Work collaboratively with attorneys and support staff

Growing criminal defense firm is seeking a motivated and confident Criminal Defense Attorney to join its Little Rock office. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney who is passionate about protecting clients’ rights and wants to develop strong courtroom and trial experience with an established criminal defense practice.

The attorney will manage a varied caseload involving misdemeanor and felony charges in Arkansas state courts. Depending on experience, the position may also include federal criminal matters, appeals, and complex felony cases.

Responsibilities

• Represent clients in misdemeanor and felony criminal cases
• Manage cases from initial consultation through final resolution
• Appear in court for arraignments, hearings, motions, plea negotiations, and trials
• Conduct legal research and prepare motions, briefs, pleadings, and other legal documents
