Qualifications

• 2-5+ years experience in criminal defense or prosecution.
• Oregon State Bar membership required.
• JD required.
• Spanish language skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead criminal defense work as the firm expands in Corvallis and Eugene.

If you’re passionate about criminal defense, consider this Criminal Defense Attorney position at a firm with a reputation for excellent client service and an empathetic approach to criminal and DUI defense.

They’re looking for someone to take the lead as they expand their reach into Corvallis and Eugene. You’ll work closely with your clients through each stage of their case – from new client consultations and investigations to trial prep, court representation, and post-trial proceedings. This will include conducting research, consulting with experts, interviewing and preparing witnesses, negotiating plea deals, and drafting legal documents.

You’ll need strong legal knowledge and negotiation skills to effectively advocate for your clients. Spanish-speaking skills would also be a valuable asset for this team.

This is a hybrid position with four in-office days each week.
