• Licensed to practice law in Texas (JD & active State Bar membership required).
• At least 1-2 years of experience in criminal law (defense or prosecution).
• A valid driver’s license, as travel within Central Texas is required.
• Prior experience in Travis, Hays, and Williamson County courts is highly preferred.
• Strong courtroom advocacy skills, with prior litigation experience being a plus.
• Ability to manage a docket independently in high-volume practice.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work with diverse backgrounds.
• Fluency in both English and Spanish is required.

Preferred Experience:

• Familiarity with local courts, particularly in Travis, Williamson, and Hays counties
• Experience supporting attorneys on both misdemeanor and federal criminal cases
• Understanding of criminal court procedures, including discovery and motion practice
• Prior work in a mission-driven or client-focused law firm
