SMB Team in Cincinnati, OH seeks an Associate Attorney with 2–4 years of Ohio DUI and Criminal Defense experience to join our rapidly expanding practice. You will manage a balanced caseload with dedication to each client and collaborate with seasoned attorneys in a supportive setting.

Active Ohio Bar license is required. The role offers a hybrid work model, mentorship opportunities, and pathways for professional growth within a dynamic team.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of experience practicing criminal or DUI law.
• Active Ohio Bar license in good standing.
• Courtroom experience, including hearings and bench trials.
• Proven trial experience with ability to independently manage trials.
• Strong communication skills and ability to craft persuasive briefs.

Responsibilities

• Manage a balanced caseload of DUI and criminal matters with dedicated client attention.
• Negotiate plea agreements and litigate cases in court.
• Draft motions, pleadings, and briefs across DUI and criminal issues.
• Perform thorough legal research to build strong defenses.
• Maintain integrity and professional conduct in all interactions.
• Work effectively in a hybrid Cincinnati office environment.
