Job summary

County of Blair in Hollidaysburg, PA seeks a Criminal Case Manager to coordinate case flow and related processes. You will ensure proper handling of cases and compliance with time limitations, onsite at Blair County Courthouse.

The role includes assisting public defender clients, entering case statuses in the UCM system, and coordinating schedules with legal and court personnel. Strong communication and confidentiality are essential.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
Two years of work experience in business or administrative field; legal background preferred.
English fluency required.
Demonstrated ability to maintain effective relationships with internal and external customers.
Accuracy and attention to detail.
Strong customer service orientation.
Ability to plan, set schedules, and meet deadlines.
Experience maintaining confidential information.
Computer literacy required.

Responsibilities

Coordinate the criminal case flow and related processes.
Ensure proper handling of cases.
Ensure cases are completed in compliance with mandated time limitations.
Assist potential public defender clients with applications and gathering of complaints.
Enter case status information and dates into the Unified Case Management (UCM) system.
Coordinate tracking schedules with public defender attorneys, district attorneys, court administration, and the sheriff's office.
File criminal information and close files when appropriate.
