Winnebago County State’s Attorney’s Office seeks an Assistant State’s Attorney - Criminal to uphold justice in a fast-paced environment. You will work on misdemeanor, DUI, traffic, juvenile, domestic violence, drug, and felony matters under supervision, gaining extensive trial experience.

Qualified candidates must hold a law degree and be licensed to practice in Illinois. While full-time, in-person work is preferred, the office will consider part-time and/or remote arrangements for the right

Qualifications

• Law degree required and licensed to practice law in Illinois.
• Previous experience preferred but not required; in-person Attorneys preferred; remote arrangements may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Seek justice for crime victims and the people of the community.
• Perform professional legal work in multiple units within the Winnebago County State’s Attorney’s Office and gain trial experience.
