You will work under general supervision, handling chain-of-custody procedures and coordinating with federal, state, and local agencies. Associate degree and fingerprint experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or equivalent required; police identification experience preferred.
• Experience with evidence collection and chain of custody.
• Ability to present findings in court and maintain detailed records.

Responsabilités

• Photographs and processes crime scenes and evidence.
• Collects, lifts and classifies fingerprints; uses AFIS as needed.
• Testifies as expert witness on fingerprint charts and evidence.
• Maintains accurate records and enters data into police databases.
• Secure crime scenes and maintain chain of custody.
