Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in criminalistics, chemistry, biology, physics or a related science.
• Equivalencies - An equivalent combination of education and experience.
• A valid Maryland Class C Noncommercial driver's license or an equivalent out-of-state driver's license acceptable to the Office of Risk Management.

Responsibilities

• Perform specialized crime laboratory work including evidence detection and latent print examination.
• Work on a shift basis in crime locations and be exposed to variable conditions.
• Handle materials and operate in environments with potential toxic fumes and chemicals.
