Qualifications

• 2+ years in a customer service role preferred.
• Must have a valid driver's license and a good driving record.
• Pre-employment drug test is required.
• Ability to lift at least 30 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Review the daily schedule to prepare for arrivals and departures.
• Direct arriving aircraft to parking spots and assist with ground handling.
• Greet customers and anticipate their needs; assist with bags and transportation.
• Coordinate with customer relations and line service teams as needed.
• Check crew vans and ensure equipment is ready for daily operations.
• Escort customers to remote parking and to technical areas.

Jo Specifications:

• Starting salary-$18/hr and updepending on experience
• Position reports to a Shift Supervisor and will also receive instructions and assignments from Line Manager and Operations Manager
• Full-time,non-exempt, must be able to work an (8) shiftbetween the hours 6am-10pm and be availableto work weekends
• A minimum of 2 years ina customer service role preferred.?T
• Position requires excellent customer service skills, ability to communicate orally and written
• Must have a valid drivers license and a good driving record.
• Pre-employmentdrug testis required

Essential duties and responsibilities:

Review the daily schedule to prepare for arrivals and departures.

Direct arriving aircraft to a parking spot and chock them on the nose wheel and main.

Greet the customer and ask if you can be of assistance. Anticipate their needs when able.

Have customer's transportation standing by 2 hours in advance of when they arrive and take dirty rentals from departing customers. Close out rental car contracts.

Assist customers with their bags, transport customers to and from the terminal building, restaurant, and pilot shop.

Service coffee, ice, catering, dishes, linen, etc. to departing aircraft.

Check in all catering orders and mark as needed.

Assist Customer Relations Reps and Line Service teammates as needed

Check the crew vans at the start of your shift to ensure they are clean, setup daily rentals

Escort customers driving to remote parking and to technical areas.

Job Requirements:

Must be able to lift at least 30lbs overhead. Must be able to stand, bend, squat and be on your feet for extended periods of time.

Communicate with co-workers, management, customers, and others in a courteous and professional manner. Abide by all regulations, policies, work procedures, and instructions.

Conform with all safety rules and wear/use all appropriate safety equipment.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills,

Have the ability to give directions to area hotels, restaurants, and attractions,

Able to locate and use coffee and ice machines,

Obtain knowledge of where we park clean and dirty rental cars, how to record the fuel, mileage, date, and inspect the vehicle to return the vehicle,

A complete knowledge of Ft. Lauderdale's Executive Airport, including the location of hangars, ramps, taxiways, runways, tie-downs, fuel farm, tower, U.S. Customs, and all other FBOs located at the airport, Airport Authority, Tower and U.S. Customs including procedures, hours and required documentation,
