Banyan Air Services Inc. in Fort Lauderdale is seeking a Retail Sales Representative to greet customers, assist with product selection, and drive sales in our Pilot Shop.

This full-time hourly role requires weekend work, including Saturdays, and reports to the Pilot Shop Manager. The ideal candidate has a high school diploma and at least two years in customer-service retail sales, with strong communication and teamwork skills.

POSITION TITLE: Retail Sales Representative

STATUS: This is a full-time hourly position. Candidatemust be able to work Saturdays.

REPORTS TO: Pilot Shop Manager

OBJECTIVE:Greeting pilot shop customers and providing prompt, friendly and exceptional customer service. Assisting and contributing to sales goals.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Greeting pilot shop customers and providing prompt, friendly and exceptional customer service.


• Build customer loyalty through service excellence


• Provide customers with the necessaryassistance in finding items and suggest additional items.


• Maintain store presentation by stocking new inventory, straightening stock displays, stocking all clothing and cleaning selling floor.


• Ensure bins are labeled correctly and signage is accurate.


• Ensure that daily and weekly sales goals are met.


• Be aware of all items in inventory and the basic function of each item.


• Advise parts specialists of merchandise needed to ensure we do not run out or low on stock items.


• Inform manager of new product information and frequently requested products.


• Answer telephone and assist in other store tasks as needed,


• Maintain a clean, organized and pleasant department ensuring that all parts and equipment is in good condition and will operate safely.


• Assist with inventory counts and actively take responsibility to prevent inventory shortage.


• Maintain assigned area of responsibility by proper labeling, restocking and merchandising.


• Conduct and communicate in a professional manner with all at all times.


• Observe and abide by all regulations, policies, work procedures, and instructions.


• Comply with all safety rules wear and use all appropriate safety equipment.

JOB SPECIFICATIONS:

A high school diploma or the equivalent and a minimum of two years experiencein a customerservice retail sales role.
