Job summary

Woodlawns Landscape in Illinois is seeking motivated Crew Members to join our team and contribute to a range of landscape projects. You will maintain lawns and gardens, assist with pruning, and help shape client properties to our high standards.

The role involves installing plant material, bed maintenance, and assisting with hardscape features. A minimum of 1 year in landscaping is preferred and safety is a priority in all daily tasks.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of proven work experience as a Landscaper.
• Knowledge of plant identification and proper planting techniques.
• Ability to operate landscaping equipment safely and efficiently.
• Understanding of hardscaping principles and techniques.
• Strong work ethic and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Install plant material such as trees, shrubs and flowers.
• Bed preparation and maintenance—weeding, edging, mulching, fertilizing.
• Assist with construction of patios and other hardscape features using pavers, stone, and concrete.
• Load, unload and transport materials, tools, and equipment.
• Collaborate with crew members and supervisors to complete projects to a high standard.
• Follow all safety guidelines and procedures.
