Job summary

Woodlawns Landscape in Mundelein, IL is seeking a motivated Crew Member to join our landscape maintenance team. You will help maintain lawns, gardens, and property aesthetics, performing mowing, edging, trimming, pruning, and plantings on diverse client sites.

The role requires physical stamina, the ability to lift, bend, kneel, and work in varying weather conditions. Prior landscaping experience is preferred, and you will operate mowers, blowers, trimmers, and other equipment daily.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of proven work experience as a Landscaper or similar role.
• Must be able to operate maintenance equipment including lawnmowers, leaf blowers and hedge trimmers.
• Landscaping is a physically demanding job - expect to lift heavy objects, bend, kneel, and stand for extended periods.
• Ability to work in various weather conditions

Responsibilities

• Conduct mowing, edging, and trimming to maintain lawns and gardens.
• Plant new bushes, flowers, and shrubs as needed.
• Remove weeds and dead plants to preserve plant health and appearance.
• Trim overgrown limbs, hedges, and leaves to keep areas appealing.
