Job summary

Cheba Hut Baton Rouge is seeking a dedicated Crew Member to craft great food, greet guests warmly, and contribute to a welcoming, high-energy atmosphere. You’ll help teammates deliver fast, accurate service at the register, line, and lobby, while upholding food safety and cleanliness.

No formal experience is required, and we’ll help you obtain a food handling certification. You’ll enjoy opportunities for advancement in a lively, supportive culture as part of Cheba Hut’s toasted vibes.

Qualifications

• Previous restaurant, food service, or customer service experience preferred, but not required.
• Food handling certification required (we'll help you certify)
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Comfortable lifting up to 47 lbs
• Comfortable embracing Cheba Hut's playful, non-traditional “Toasted” atmosphere

Responsibilities

• Craft great food and create positive interactions with guests
• Provide fast, friendly service at the register, line, and lobby
• Make menu recommendations and handle cash and POS transactions accurately
• Support opening, closing, and shift duties consistently
• Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards across front- and back-of-house areas
