Crumbl Cookies is hiring a baker to join our fast-growing bakery team in Cincinnati. You will learn Crumbl recipes, operate bakery equipment, decorate treats, ensure food safety, and provide excellent customer service on a busy shift.

The role requires reliability, teamwork, and the ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen. Prior bakery experience is helpful but not required, and the store offers a friendly work environment with opportunities to advance.

Qualifikationen

Come join the fastest growing cookie franchise in the nation! Crumbl is a tech-savvy bakery with a weekly rotating menu that is sure to appeal to all kinds of cookie preferences and cravings!

We search for skilled, creative bakers who strive to provide high-quality baked goods and services in an efficient, professional manner. The Baker understands recipes, performs quality checks on ingredients and finished products, uses frostings, glazes, fillings, and other toppings to enhance item presentation, and process orders from customers.

As a baker, you will greet customers, answer questions, clean workstations and equipment, make sure the kitchen is stocked, and perform other duties as needed.

To be a successful baker, you should be efficient, friendly, focused on food quality and customer satisfaction, be decisive, attentive, and have a strong understanding of baking techniques.

Baker Responsibilities

• Read and understand Crumbl recipes
• Measure and combine ingredients using mixers, blenders, heat sources, and other equipment to make cookies
• Decorating and displaying the finished product
• Testing ingredients and finished goods to ensure that each item meets food safety and quality controls
• Greeting customers, answering questions, making recommendations, accepting orders and payment, and providing exceptional customer service
• Keeping records relating to deliveries, inventory, and production levels
• Cleaning and restocking the workstation and ensuring all equipment is sanitized and prepared for the next shift

Baker Requirements

• Commits to the 3 C's of Crumbl:Customer Experience, Cookie Quality, and Cleanliness
• Strong communication, time and resource management, and planning skills
• Have a working cell phone that can download and use apps
• Attention to detail, especially when performing quality inspections on ingredients and products
• Basic math and computer skills
• Willingness to work independently or with other team members to solve problems, plan schedules, fulfill orders, and create excellent baked goods
• Flexibility to work around customer demands, including early morning, night, weekend, and holiday availability
• Ability to work in a hot, hectic environment
• Stand, walk, bend, use hands, appliances, and lift heavy items for extended periods

Applicants will also be expected to be able to work on their feet for several hours at a time and lift potentially heavy objects when necessary. Prior experience is preferred, but not necessary.

Uniform & Appearance

Working in a bakery, we have some additional precautions that must be followed in order to assure 100% food safety.

• No jewelry (including piercings, necklace, rings, etc.) can be worn during shift in the kitchen
• No fake nails or nail polish- must be kept clean and short in order to wear appropriate gloves and ensure food safety
• Hair must be kept in such a manner that it can be worn with a hair net and kept in a ball cap

It all started with one big dream, two crazy cousins, and the perfect combination of flour, sugar, and chocolate chips. Crumbl was co-founded by Jason McGowan (CEO) & Sawyer Hemsley (COO). They both teamed up and dove head-first into the world of baking. After thousands of dollars in wasted dough, recipes that did not live up to their expectations, and cookies that are just plain embarrassing to them today, the two cousins decided to take their 'perfect cookie quest' to the people. They gathered feedback and tested recipes — a practice that is still part of the Crumbl process — until they created the world’s best chocolate chip cookie.
