Job summary

Town House Specialty Cleaning Co is seeking reliable and detail-oriented General Cleaners to perform routine cleaning and janitorial duties at assigned locations in New York. The General Cleaner is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary environment while meeting Company and client standards.

Pay rate is $17.00–$20.00 per hour, based on position, location, experience, and other job-related factors.

Qualifications

• Commercial cleaning experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, push, pull and lift up to 40 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and clean assigned areas and surfaces.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms, including toilets, sinks, mirrors, showers, and floors.
• Empty trash and dispose of waste properly.
• Replenish restroom and cleaning supplies.
• Report maintenance concerns or damaged equipment to a supervisor.

The General Cleaner is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary environment while meeting Company and client standards.Key ResponsibilitiesSweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and clean assigned areas and surfaces.Clean and sanitize restrooms, including toilets, sinks, mirrors, showers, and floors, as applicable.Empty trash and dispose of waste properly.Replenish restroom and cleaning supplies.Perform routine and periodic/deep cleaning tasks as assigned.Properly use and maintain cleaning equipment, materials, and supplies.Follow Company safety, cleaning, and sanitation procedures.Report maintenance concerns, safety hazards, damaged equipment, or other issues to a supervisor.Complete assigned work within established schedules and service standards.Perform other cleaning duties as assigned based on operational needs.Previous commercial cleaning experience preferred but not required.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Dependable, punctual, and able to follow instructions.Attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and regularly bend, reach, push, pull, and lift up to 40 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.Ability to work the schedule required for the assigned location.Compensation & BenefitsPay rate: $17.00–$20.00 per hour, based on the position, location, experience, and other job-related factors.Eligible employees may participate in Town House Specialty Cleaning Co.’s employee benefit programs, including available health and welfare benefits, paid time off, and other Company-sponsored benefits, subject to applicable eligibility requirements and plan terms.
