Job summary

Cheba Hut "Toasted" Subs is seeking a Crew Member in Madison, WI. You will deliver energetic, friendly service at the register and front-of-house, while contributing to a positive guest experience and efficient operations.

Responsibilities include cash handling, menu recommendations, and maintaining clean, safe spaces. Prior food service or customer service experience is helpful, with food handling certification supported by the employer.

• Experience in restaurant, food service, or customer service preferred.
• Food handling certification encouraged (we help you certify).
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Comfortable lifting up to 47 lbs.
• Must be 18 years or older.

Responsibilities

• Provide fast, friendly service at the register, line, and lobby.
• Handle cash and POS transactions accurately.
• Make confident menu recommendations to guests.
• Maintain clean front-of-house and back-of-house areas.
• Follow SOPs and food safety labeling, FIFO.

What Makes You a Fit

• Previous restaurant, food service, or customer service experience preferred, but not required
• Food handling certification required (no worries if you don’t have one- we’ll help you certify)
