Smithfield's Chicken 'N Bar-B-Q in Jacksonville, NC is hiring for Crew Members to join a fast-paced restaurant environment. The role involves greeting customers, taking orders, handling payments, and supporting food prep and cleaning tasks.

You will work in a team setting across front- and back-of-house duties, with emphasis on accuracy, efficiency, and customer satisfaction. This position offers flexible hours and opportunities for advancement.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers, take orders and handle payments.
• Brew iced tea, fill beverage orders and keep the counter area clean and stocked.
• Deliver food orders to tables and bag take-out orders according to company standards.
• Refill beverages and ensure guests have everything they need to enjoy their meal.

We are hiring for the Smithfield's Chicken & BBQ.

Smithfield's Chicken 'N Bar-B-Q is a rapidly growing restaurant and franchise company with over 30 locations in North Carolina. Our crew members are trained across the board on all main functions related to restaurant general operations - from Front of the House (Cashiers and Food-runners) to Back of the House (Cooks - Food Prep and Cook Line)

Pay range $11/hr - $14/hr

Overtime Hours are available for Top Performers

Pay will depend on availability to work, experience, and needs of the restaurant

under 18 rates may differ do to permit work restrictions

Crew Member Responsibilities:

• Ability to understand and follow instructions
• Ability to multi-task, work quickly and efficiently
• Clean tables, sweep/mop the floors, and keep the dining room and restrooms clean and organized
• Stand/ be active for long periods of time
• Reach above head, turn, twist and reach repetitively
• Greet the customers, take their orders and handle payments
• Follow proper cash handling procedures
• Brew iced tea, fill beverage orders and keep the counter area clean and stocked
• Deliver food orders to the tables and bag up take-out orders according to company standards
• Refill beverages and ensure our guests have everything they need to enjoy their meal
