GENERAL OVERVIEW

Jersey Mike's restaurants are independently owned and operated franchise locations. Franchisees are independent business owners who set their own wage and benefit programs, which can vary between franchisees. Your application will go directly to the franchisee, and all hiring decisions will be made by the franchisee. Employees will work the front counter, be responsible for customer service, making sandwiches, and interacting with customers and co-workers. Crew members will complete other tasks associated with operating a store. The expectation of any employee is to uphold the highest level of operational standards.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES

The primary responsibilities of a Crew Member include:

• Providing food that meets Jersey Mike's specifications and high-quality standards
• Offering service that exceeds customer expectations
• Maintaining a clean store and work environment
• Setting up the store, including food preparation
• Ensuring food safety and sanitation, including cleaning, sweeping, mopping, etc.
• Using slicer (18 years old and above only)
• Using tomato slicer (17 years old and above only)
• Following directives of Operations Partner in executing responsibilities

ADDITIONAL JOB REQUIREMENTS

Must have reliable transportation to and from work. Customer service skills and the ability to interact effectively with customers and co-workers are essential.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• 0-1 year experience in food service
• 0-1 year experience in cash handling

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

• Performing vigorous physical tasks requiring long periods of standing, walking, stooping, reaching, and lifting (up to 50 pounds)
• Using food preparation equipment safely for extended periods
