Job summary

Servtech is seeking an Evening Crew Manager to lead a squad at the Andrews AFB Commissary. The role focuses on coordinating tasks, ensuring efficient operations, and maintaining safety and quality standards in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in supervisory roles, experience managing groups of 10+, and a commitment to excellent customer service. Evening hours are required, with responsibilities spanning custodial, stocking, and warehousing tasks.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of management experience.

• Experience leading a crew of at least 10 people.
• Background check required.
• Evening shift availability.

Responsibilities

• Plans and prepares work schedules and assigns employees.
• Supervises shelf stocking and custodial tasks.
• Observes workflow to ensure production standards are met.
• Ensures all functions are performed within the approved timeframe.
• Performs QC inspections and implements corrective actions as needed.
• Manages site-level HR functions (scheduling, evaluations, corrective actions, postings).
• Ensures compliance with company/site policies, security, and HR practices.
• Manages health and safety plans.
• Acts as liaison with customer representatives and addresses inquiries.
• Handles emergencies and employee incidents/reporting.
• Addresses employee grievances and dissatisfactions.
• Ensures adherence to laws and company policies.
• Maintains clean and safe work environment.
• Completes day-end paperwork.
• Works across custodial, warehousing, and shelf stocking functions.
• Motivates workforce by example.

• 3+ years Managment
• High school graduate and Supervisory or Management experience
• Ability to work independently.
• Exemplary Customer Service experience
• Prior experience managing a crew of at least 10 people.
• Prior experience in custodial or grocery industry including Stocking, Warehouse, Janitorial Preferred but not required.
• Must be able to pass a background check.
• Work evenings.

Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: CrewManager performs the following duties personally or supervises employees performing these duties:

• Plans and prepares work schedules and assigns employees to specific duties.
• Supervises employees engaged in shelf stocking and custodial tasks.
• Observes workflow to ensure production standards are being met.
• Ensure all required functions are performed within the approved timeframe.
• Performs QC Inspections and ensures corrective actions are completed as necessary
• Managers site level HR Functions (schedule writing, employee evaluation, corrective action plans, job postings)
• Ensures compliance with established company & site level policies and procedures, security, and applicable HR procedures and practices
• Manages Health & safety plans
• Meets with Customer Reps & Acts as a Liaison
• Answers customer's complaints or inquiries
• Responsible for appropriately handling/reporting of emergencies, employee accidents.
• Handles employee dissatisfactions and grievances
• Adherence to federal and local laws, and to all company policies and procedures
• Assistant in maintaining clean and safe work environment
• Perform various paperwork including,
• Responsible for completing close of day function in office
• Works in every function assigned to this project (Custodial, Warehousing & Shelf Stocking)
