Job summary

Green Mountain Flagging LLC is looking for a Crew Leader to oversee traffic control operations in St. Albans, Vermont. As a leader, you will ensure safe work zones and efficient crew operations while maintaining communication with the office.

Applicants must have a Vermont Work Zone Certification and at least six months of experience in traffic control. The position provides competitive pay, health benefits, and opportunities for advancement within a family-owned company.

Qualifications

• Active Vermont Work Zone Certification.
• 6 months of traffic control or Flagger experience.
• Knowledge of traffic control practices and work zone safety.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable Motor Vehicle Record.
• At least 21 years of age.
• Truck/SUV for transporting flagging equipment.
• Full-day availability Monday to Friday, plus additional hours as needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead traffic control crews to ensure a safe work zone.
• Set up, monitor, and remove traffic control devices.
• Ensure adherence to traffic control plans.
• Communicate with crew and GMF office professionally.
• Complete daily paperwork accurately.
• Care for traffic control equipment.
• Demonstrate leadership and excellent attendance.
