Job summary

Yellowstone Landscape is seeking a Snow Crew Leader to supervise a team delivering professional snow removal services. The role involves ongoing outdoor snow removal across client sites, including operating equipment and applying de-icer materials in all weather, day and night.

You will lead a small crew, ensure safety, and adapt quickly to weather events while maintaining attention to detail and high-quality results.

Qualifications

• Legal authorization to work in the United States.
• Must be able to lift and move 50 pounds or more.
• Capable of working outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Reliable transportation to the branch or site.

Responsibilities

• Snow removal for designated areas.
• Operate heavy equipment to remove snow and treat icy conditions for clients.
• Safely distribute de-icing solutions.
• Perform highly physical work in cold, icy, and snowy weather.
• Knowledge of proper use of equipment: shovel, snow scrapers, snow blowers, salt spreaders.
• Apply chemical methods for snow/ice control.
• Part time/on call for weather events 24/7.
• All other duties as assigned.

Job description

The Snow Crew Leader will supervise a team providing professional snow removal services for our clients. This position is responsible for performing ongoing snow removal tasks during all hours of the day and night in all outdoor weather conditions while maintaining a strong attention to detail.

What would my responsibilities be?

• Snow removal for designated areas.
• Operating heavy equipment to remove snow and treat icy conditions for clients
• Safely and appropriately distribute de-icing solutions
• Perform highly physical and demanding work on a consistent basis in all weather conditions, specifically very cold, icy, and snowy weather
• Knowledge of proper use of equipment: shovel, snow scrapers, snow blowers, salt spreaders
• Proper application method of chemical application
• Part time/On call for weather events 24/7
• All other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Legal authorization to work in the United States
• Required to walk, stand, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, life, grasp, carry, push, and pull during a regular workday shift
• Must be able to lift and/or move 50 pounds plus
• Must be able to work in all outdoor weather conditions: hot, cold, freezing, rain, snow, wet weather conditions and have proper attire
• Specific vision abilities by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
• Must have reliable transportation to the Branch or first job site
• Safe driving record and ability to successfully pass a Motor Vehicle Report (“MVR”) required
