Crew Leader

Job Type: Full time: 40 hours per week with occasional overtime opportunities.

Salary Per Hour: varies based on experience.

Summary: A Crew Leader oversees and produced landscape maintenance, irrigation, spray, and/or install operations for an assigned book of business.

Reports to: F.O.M

Responsibilities

• Manage a Book of Business by proactively establishing a working and professional relationship with a CRM, Crew Leaders, Irrigation Technicians, Spray Technicians, and other Field Personnel they manage for their assigned book of business.
• Oversee all quality control on maintenance accounts and irrigation work for their assigned book of business.
• Responsible for meeting daily route/project requirements of Green Summit Contracts.
• Oversee and manage a team of 2-4 people.
• Proactively manage irrigation needs for the maintenance accounts.
• Responsible for safe operation of all equipment required to complete the work on any given workday.
• Meet productivity budgets for hours, gross margin, and book revenue. This includes checking timecards for accuracy and adjusting the schedule as needed.
• Meet with Client Relationship Manager on sites when needed.
• Train crews weekly to meet Green Summit’s quality and operational standards.

Operational Skills

• Ability to operate most small engine equipment used daily, including Zero Turn Riding Lawn Mower, Walk Behind Lawn Mower, Line Trimmer, Steel Edger, Trencher, Hedge Trimmer, and Skid Steer.
• Ability to drive a ¾ ton truck, or bigger, with an 18′ trailer hauling equipment.
• Must have a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear and frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 35 pounds. The employee is regularly required to stand and walk.
