The City of Orlando is seeking a Crew Leader for its Public Works department. This role involves supervising maintenance and repair tasks for streets and drainage, requiring a high school diploma and supervisory experience. Ideal candidates will have a strong background in manual work and leadership in a maintenance environment.
Salary Range: $21.41 - $27.31

Employees must work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
PUBLIC WORKS: Supervises and performs semi-skilled manual work related to the construction, maintenance, and repair of streets, drainage, sidewalks, driveways, curbs, and gutters. Supervises crews performing unskilled and semi-skilled tasks involving physical effort and operation of power tools and equipment. Work is performed under moderate supervision, reviewed during and after completion through observation, meetings, and work review.
High School Diploma/G.E.D. and two years of maintenance experience, including at least one year in a supervisory role, or equivalent education, training, and experience. Additional certifications or licenses such as Florida Restricted Pesticide License, Florida Driver's License or CDL (B/C), Wastewater Collection Technician Certificate may be required depending on the assignment.
