Job summary
Stanley Black & Decker in Jackson, TN is seeking a Maintenance Tech – Crew Lead for the 3rd shift to provide technical support across the facility and minimize downtime. You will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems, and lead team efforts on projects while training others and ensuring safe, efficient operation.
The role emphasizes CMMS documentation, 5S cleanliness, and collaboration with a multi-skilled maintenance team in a fast-paced manufacturing
Qualifications
- AAS in Industrial Technology or related diploma/degree.
- 5 years equivalent experience or combination of education and experience.
- Strong electrical, mechanical and analytical aptitude.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventative maintenance on all equipment.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical problems to minimize downtime.
- Assist with the implementation of most projects.
- Participate in the improvements of plant equipment to maximize volumes of throughput.
- Train others and share knowledge of equipment that supports operations.
- Assist with major repairs/rebuilds with the appropriate skills.
- Maintain equipment at the best operating level.
- Maintain CMMS documentation and paperwork.
