Job summary

Banana Landscape seeks an experienced Landscape Technician Crew Lead to guide a two-person mowing-route crew on residential, commercial, and HOA properties in Boise, Idaho. This hands-on role requires dependable leadership, route pacing, and attention to detail to meet Banana Landscape standards.

You will review schedules, assign tasks, inspect results, and maintain equipment while ensuring safety and clear customer communication.

Qualifications

• At least two years of professional landscape maintenance experience.
• Experience leading a two-person crew, assigning work and checking quality.
• Experience safely driving a truck while towing a landscape trailer.
• Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
• Working knowledge of commercial landscape equipment and safe operating practices.
• Ability to perform physical outdoor work in changing weather.
• Reliable attendance and dependable transportation to the starting location.
• Ability to use a smartphone and Jobber for scheduling, notes, and photos.

Responsibilities

• Safely drive a company truck while towing, backing, parking, connecting, and disconnecting a landscape trailer.
• Lead a two-person landscape mowing-route crew to complete assigned work safely and efficiently.
• Perform landscape maintenance including mowing, edging, trimming, blowing, pruning, weeding, and seasonal cleanups; snow/ice in winter.
• Review daily schedule and priorities before beginning work.
• Assign daily tasks and maintain appropriate pace without sacrificing detail or quality.
• Inspect completed work and leave properties clean and secure.
• Use Jobber to clock in/out, review notes, upload photos and observations.
• Oversee properties, document recurring service requirements and customer concerns.
• Oversee truck, trailer, tools, and equipment and keep them clean and safe.
• Communicate professionally with customers, teammates, supervisors, and office staff.
