Job summary

You will coordinate equipment, train crew on procedures, ensure safe, efficient and timely completion within budget while upholding quality workmanship.

Strong communication and hands-on leadership are essential; ability to work outdoors in all weather, with toolbox talks and safety briefings daily.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Thorough knowledge to perform all essential craft functions under supervision.
• Ability to plan tasks, train staff on safety practices and procedures.
• Understanding of scheduling, material control and job cost basics.
• Clear written and verbal communication with crew and management.
• Must be a good communicator, motivator and team player.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and organize people, equipment, tools and materials for safe, efficient construction.
• Ensure construction equipment is operated and maintained correctly.
• Maintain accurate reporting records: quantities, productivity, time sheets, reports.
• Assist in developing weekly schedules and activity sequences for the crew.
• Ensure timely completion within estimated costs while upholding quality workmanship.
• Ensure crew safety and compliance with company and government safety rules.
• Conduct toolbox meetings and communicate safety concerns, work scope, plans and schedules.
• Monitor adherence to company policies by all supervised employees.
