Job summary

SEH is a practitioner-owned engineering, architecture, planning and environmental firm actively recruiting a Crew Chief for our Geospatial Data Services team. The selected candidate will perform control, boundary and topographic surveys, prepare right-of-way plans, and utilize Trimble data collection equipment, drones and 3D scanning technology

Qualifications

• Previous Survey experience, including field experience.
• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• Previous experience with AutoCAD.
• Ability to work 10-12 hour days in remote or rural areas.
• Ability to work outside in various conditions.
• Willing to work out of town/travel.
• This position requires an MVR records check verifying that you possess a valid driver's license and a driving record which meets the requirements of SEH's Driving Program.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Understanding of CDOT procedures and standards including Right-of-Way plan production
• Proficient with the use of Trimble data collectors, Trimble GPS, Trimble robotic total stations and Trimble Business Center
• Ability to apply principles and practices of land surveying
• Ability to understand and decipher horizontal/vertical datums and coordinate systems
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively
• Strong attention to detail
• Strong math skills
