Job summary

Firestorm Wildland Fire Suppression seeks a hand crew supervisor to lead a crew in the safe and effective completion of assigned work on and off the fireline. Qualifications

• Complete S-230 / S-290 and IC…ICS-200- CRWB/ENGB task book is issued following S-230 & S-290 training making the firefighter an CRWB/ENGB Trainee.
• Complete Annual Fireline Safety Refresher (RT-130) training prior to next fire season.
• Pass work capacity fitness test (pack test) prior to next fire season.
• As an ENGB Trainee, work on wildfire incidents and complete the CRWB/ENGB task book.
• As a CRWB Trainee, work on at least 3 training incidents totaling at least 15 operational periods while on wildfire incident types 4,3,2,or 1 and completethe FFT1 task book.
• 10 of these assignments on type 4, 3, 2, or 1 type incidents.
• Become certified as an CRWB/ENGB

Job Summary

A hand crew supervisor’s primary responsibility is leading his or her crew in the safe and effective completion of assigned work—on and off the fireline. This role also includes administrative duties, like timekeeping and travel record-keeping.Supervisors should have advanced training in fire suppression skills, plus training in leadership and supervision. Crew bosses are expected to execute fireline assignments with a minimal amount of operational oversight.

Certifications Required
