Job summary

nLogic is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to support mechanical design and CAD modeling activities with Creo, focusing on 3D models, assemblies, and drawings. The role suits recent graduates but mid-career candidates are welcome, emphasizing hands-on CAD modeling and design execution.

The position is onsite in Huntsville, AL, requires U.S. Citizenship and an active DoD Secret Clearance, and follows a 9/80 schedule with possible after-hours work.

Qualifications

• DoD Secret Clearance required for consideration.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related technical discipline.
• Proficiency with PTC Creo for 3D modeling, assembly development, and drawing creation.
• Ability to develop and modify mechanical components, assemblies, and engineering drawings.
• Understanding of engineering drawing standards and GD&T principles.
• Strong attention to detail and configuration management practices.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative engineering environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop, modify, and maintain 3D CAD models, assemblies, and drawings using Creo.
• Support mechanical design through detailed modeling and documentation.
• Incorporate engineering changes and maintain design configuration integrity.
• Participate in design reviews with cross-functional teams.
• Generate technical documentation to support the design process.
