Job summary

SIERRA VIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL AND CREMATORY, INC. is seeking a Crematory Operator to assist with general crematory tasks, identification processes, logging, and cremation of decedents.

Duties include maintaining accurate records of daily cremations, burial permits, work orders, IDs/tags for caskets and deceased, and crematory release check lists, while assisting in cleaning and maintenance, and preparing accounting reports. Compliance with safety and regulations is required.

Qualifications

• Valid California Driver's License.
• Must be able to lift 100 lbs.
• Ability to work independently with little supervision.
• Excellent customer service skills and highly detail oriented.

Job description

The Crematory Operator will assist with the general tasks of the Crematory and help make a difference for our families by helping with the identification process, logging and procedures and cremation of decedents.

Duties will also include, but are not limited to:

• Maintaining accurate record keeping of daily cremations, burial permits, work orders, cremation identification cards/tags for caskets and deceased and crematory release check list forms.
• Assisting in cleaning and maintaining crematory, preparing accounting reports and complying with all safety and legal regulations.

Requirements:

Valid California Driver's License

The ability to lift 100lbs.

Must be able to work independently with little or no supervision and have excellent customer service skills and be extremely detail oriented.
