Crematory Operations/Route Service Driver

Pay Rate: $19/hr

Work Hours: Sat, Sun, Mon, Tues, Wed 8am-4:30pm

Location: Pet Angel Memorial Center, 744 Freeland Station Rd, Nashville, TN 37228

Job Overview

The Operations Team Member reports to the Operations Care Center Manager and is responsible for operating cremation equipment, creating and packaging paw prints, engraving plaques and memorial items, and processing cremated remains. The role involves working closely with a dedicated team in a care center environment.

Responsibilities
  • Operate cremation retort, create and package paw prints, engrave plaques, and ensure quality control.
  • Assist with pick-ups and deliveries at vet clinics, homes, and other locations using a company vehicle.
  • Maintain daily cremation targets with compassion and precision.
  • Monitor and maintain equipment, submitting maintenance requests as needed.
  • Perform cleaning duties to uphold a safe and sanitary environment.
  • Handle and process remains with care and respect.
  • Follow safety protocols to prevent hazards and exposure to materials.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • At least 12 months of experience in a service industry.
  • Valid Driver’s License may be required.
