Job summary

Mohawk Industries, Inc. in Glasgow, VA, is seeking a Creeler for the 3rd shift to ensure creel yarn supply meets yardage requirements, patrol the creel, and keep yarn running smoothly. The role requires teamwork and adherence to quality standards.

You will participate in quality improvement, follow SOPs, attend training, and perform housekeeping and other tasks as assigned by management. Mohawk is a Fortune 500 global flooring leader supporting a wide range of brands.

Responsibilities

• Keep creel yarn supply to meet assigned yardages
• Patrol creel and keep yarn running
• Observe creel and stop machine for quality issues (breakouts, defective packages, small packages)
• Work within a team environment
• Participate in the Quality Improvement Process
• Attend job-related training deemed necessary by supervision
• Follow all established standard operating procedures
• Perform general housekeeping duties as necessary
• Perform other tasks assigned by management
