Job summary

Mohawk Industries Inc. is seeking a Creeler for the Glasgow, VA facility on 2nd shift. You will be responsible for keeping the creel yarn supply to meet yardage targets and patrolling the creel to ensure continuous yarn flow.

You will observe the creel for quality issues, stop the machine as needed, work within a team, and actively participate in the Quality Improvement Process. Training and SOP adherence are expected.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for keeping the creel yarn supply to meet the assigned yardages.
• Patrol creel and keep yarn running
• Observe the creel, stop the machine should any quality issues such as breakouts, defective packages, small packages, etc.
• Work within a team environment.
• Actively participate in the Quality Improvement Process.
• Attend any job-related training deemed necessary by supervision
• Follow all established standard operating procedures
• Perform general housekeeping duties as necessary
• Perform other tasks assigned by management
