Job summary

Mohawk Industries is a Fortune 500, global flooring leader seeking a hands-on creel yarn operator to help keep production flowing and maintain quality.

You will monitor yarn supply to meet yardages, patrol creels, stop machines for quality issues, work in a team, participate in Quality Improvement Process, and complete training as needed. Mohawk Industries is an equal opportunity employer committed to inclusion.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for keeping the creel yarn supply to meet the assigned yardages.
• Patrol creel and keep yarn running
• Observe the creel, stop the machine should any quality issues such as breakouts, defective packages, small packages, etc.
• Work within a team environment.
• Actively participate in the Quality Improvement Process.
• Attend any job-related training deemed necessary by supervision
• Follow all established standard operating procedures
• Perform general housekeeping duties as necessary
• Perform other tasks assigned by management
