Qualifications

• Be enrolled in a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Engineering, Construction Management, Finance, Business, or a related field.
• For Tax Credit Advisory, JD/LLM preferred.
• Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer-sponsored visa sponsorship.
• Candidates must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must have at least one academic term remaining following completion of the internship.
• Willingness to travel to client locations and Baker Tilly office locations.
• Proficiency with Microsoft programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Research & Development Tax: support the preparation of R&D tax credit studies with client data and documentation.
• Cost Segregation: assist with planning, asset information, and supporting workpapers.
• Tax Credit Advisory: help identify and evaluate federal, state, and local tax credits and incentives.
