Baker Tilly Advisory Group, LP has an exciting opportunity for Credits & Incentives Interns to join our growing Specialty Tax practice. You will work with clients across industries to identify and maximize federal and state tax incentives while delivering innovative, data-driven solutions that create value.

As part of our team, you will gain exposure to client engagements, potentially travel to client locations, and contribute to developing tools and templates used across engagements.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Engineering, Construction Management, Finance, Business, or a related field.
• JD/LLM preferred for Tax Credit Advisory.

Responsibilities

• Research & Development Tax: assist with R&D tax credit studies and documentation; participate in client interviews; support technical reports.
• Cost Segregation: assist with planning, review of construction data, and preparation of workpapers; support technical memoranda and studies.
• Tax Credit Advisory: help identify and evaluate federal, state, and local tax credits; gather and analyze client information; assist with deliverables.
