Job summary

Baker Tilly US is seeking Credits & Incentives Interns to join our growing Specialty Tax practice. You will work with clients across industries to identify and maximize federal and state tax incentives while delivering data-driven solutions that create value.

The internship covers R&D tax credits, cost segregation, and tax credit advisory work, with opportunities to travel to client sites and gain exposure to multiple Baker Tilly office locations. A relevant degree and coursework are required.

Qualifications

• Be enrolled in a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Engineering, Construction Management, Finance, Business, or related field.
• For Tax Credit Advisory, JD/LLM preferred.
• A resume and unofficial transcript(s) are required as part of the application process.
• Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Assist with R&D tax credit studies by organizing data and contributing to reports.
• Support cost segregation projects with project planning and documentation.
• Help identify and evaluate federal, state, and local tax credits and incentives.
