  • Licensed or able to obtain admission promptly in PA federal courts.
  • Admission to TX courts expected and obtainable quickly if not held.
  • 3+ years mortgage foreclosure and collections experience.
  • Willing to travel within PA, NY and TX for hearings.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a high-volume creditors' rights caseload focused on mortgage foreclosure and collections.
  • Handle contested litigation including discovery disputes, depositions, motions, and hearings.
  • Appear in Texas state and federal courts and provide hearing coverage in Texas.
  • Draft pleadings, briefs, and settlement communications with precision.
  • Apply federal and state laws affecting default servicing and consumer finance matters.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to maintain workflow, deadlines and client support.

Location: Philadelphia, PA (fully remote, covering Pennsylvania) | Schedule: Full-time, remote | Compensation: $125,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year

Overview

A long-standing national law firm with an 18-state footprint, representing leading lenders, mortgage servicers, investors, and financial institutions, is seeking a Creditor's Rights Attorney to manage a high-volume caseload of mortgage foreclosure and collections matters. This fully remote role offers substantive litigation work and the chance to build a long-term career within an expanding national platform.

What you'll do
  • Manage a high-volume creditors' rights caseload focused on mortgage foreclosure and collections matters
  • Handle contested litigation including discovery disputes, depositions, motion practice, and hearings
  • Appear in Texas state and federal courts and provide hearing coverage throughout Texas
  • Draft pleadings, briefs, and settlement communications with precision and efficiency
  • Apply federal and state laws impacting default servicing and consumer finance mattersCollaborate with internal teams to maintain workflow efficiency, deadlines, and strong client support
  • Contribute to firm growth through leadership, professionalism, and relationship development
Required qualifications
  • Active Pennsylvania Bar license in good standing
  • Licensed or able to obtain admission promptly in applicable Pennsylvania federal district and bankruptcy courts
  • Admission to applicable Texas federal district and bankruptcy courts expected and obtainable quickly if not already held
  • 3+ years of mortgage foreclosure and collections experience
  • Comfortable managing a significant caseload in a high-volume environment
  • Strong litigation, writing, and courtroom skills
  • Willingness to travel within Pennsylvania for hearings and court appearances
  • Willingness to travel within New York for hearings and court appearances
  • Willingness to travel within Texas for hearings and court appearances
