NWF Group is seeking a proactive Credit Vetting Controller to join our Finance team. You will monitor customer credit risk, manage credit limits, support debt collection, and help protect the business from financial exposure.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in Credit Control, Credit Risk, Finance or Accounts Receivable.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with high attention to detail.
• Proficient in Excel and financial systems; capable of working independently.

Responsibilities

• Assess and monitor customer creditworthiness and financial risk.
• Review and approve new customer accounts per credit policies.
• Set, review, and manage customer credit limits.
• Conduct regular credit checks and risk assessments.
• Monitor aged debt and support collection activities to minimise overdue balances.
• Investigate and resolve account queries and payment disputes.
• Liaise with customers, sales teams and external agencies on credit matters.
• Produce credit risk reports and analyze trends.
• Maintain accurate customer records and compliance with controls and regulations.
• Recommend process improvements to strengthen credit risk management.

Day to Day

• - Assess and monitor customer creditworthiness and financial risk.

• - Maintain accurate customer records and documentation.
• - Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and relevant regulations.
• - Recommend process improvements to strengthen credit risk management.

What will you bring?

• - Previous experience in a Credit Control, Credit Risk, Finance, or Accounts Receivable role.
• - Previous credit vetting experience is essential.
• - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• - Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• - Good communicationand negotiation skills.
• - Ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively.
• - Proficiencyin Microsoft Excel and financial systems.
