Job summary

State of Oregon's Department of Consumer and Business Services, Division of Financial Regulation, is seeking a Credit Union Program Manager (Compliance and Regulatory Manager 2). You will lead a team of financial examiners overseeing state-chartered credit unions and ensuring safety and soundness of financial institutions.

The role offers telework on a part-time basis after proficiency, with regular office hours required.

Qualifications

• Six years of supervision or management experience.
• Three years' related experience with a related bachelor’s degree.
• Demonstrated ability to complete projects on time.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to analyze information and apply sound judgment.
• Experience presenting to executives and the public.
• Ability to coach and develop staff.
• Experience with credit unions, banks, or financial regulators.

Responsibilities

• Plan and oversee exams of state-chartered credit unions.
• Maintain relationships with regulators, industry members and consumer advocates.
• Advise management on policy issues involving the Credit Union Act.
• Provide counsel to staff, administrator and director.
