Job summary

Mid Oregon Credit Union in Bend, Oregon seeks an Internal Audit Manager to lead and oversee our audit program, ensuring compliance with internal policies and federal regulations. You will supervise audits, drive improvements in controls, and coordinate with external auditors, staff, and the Supervisory Committee.

The role requires strong leadership, excellent communication, and the ability to manage multiple projects while applying knowledge of applicable laws and regulations.

Qualifications

• Strong leadership, verbal and written communication, and attention to detail.
• Excellent time management and ability to oversee, lead, and participate in multiple projects.
• Knowledge of applicable State and Federal laws and regulations.
• Supervisory experience hiring, training, coaching, and disciplining.
• Must be PC-proficient in a Windows environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversees the execution of comprehensive audit plans to ensure compliance with internal policies and federal regulations.
• Manages audits, recommending improvements in controls and procedures.
• Acts as a liaison between external auditors, CU staff and the Supervisory Committee.
