Partnership Financial Credit Union is seeking an Accountant II to manage a broad range of accounting, financial operations, and internal control duties under minimal supervision. You will interact with vendors and staff, prepare statements, and support audits.

The role emphasizes accuracy, analytical ability, and the ability to work cross-functionally within the finance team. A bachelor’s degree and at least one year of related experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or business administration required.
• Minimum of 1 year of related experience; banking or credit union experience preferred.
• Strong analytic and operational skillset with general ledgers experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; well-organized and detail oriented.
• Knowledge of credit union banking products, policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Close monthly books and prepare monthly financial statements and board reports.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP or applicable financial reporting standards.
• Process vendor payments and reconcile accounts.
• Prepare monthly investment accounting entries and reconciliations.
• Assist external auditors and provide required statements for audits.
• Coordinate corporation tax return preparation and quarterly calls.
