BankUnited, N. A. seeks a Credit Products Officer to underwrite either Corporate & Industrial or Commercial Real Estate loan requests. The role focuses on preparing accurate credit analyses, structuring deals, and documenting approvals in the loan system.

The candidate will review financial statements, tax returns, and guarantor data to assess borrower strength, while supporting Relationship Managers and monitoring portfolios for risk management.

Qualifications

• Experience analyzing corporate financial statements and tax returns.
• Familiarity with cash flow analysis and financial statement reviews.
• Knowledge of credit risk assessment and underwriting processes.

Responsibilities

• Determine information requirements and underwrite the credit request.
• Prepare spreads using Moody's Credit Lens and other tools.
• Review borrower and guarantor financials to assess risk.
• Evaluate new applications for completeness and collateral.
• Underwrite ACH exposure for clients and monitor risk.
• Prepare the Credit Approval Memorandum and upload documents.
• Draft commitment letters or notices of conditional approval.
• Perform portfolio management and annual reviews as needed.
• Ensure compliance with BSA, Patriot Act, and related laws.
