Job Summary

The Credit System and QA Specialist will assist with various projects and processes within the organization, primarily with the Credit and Lending teams. This role will assist in report writing and developing procedures related to Credit and Lending.

Essential Job Functions
  • Act as primary backup to the Officer, Credit System and Process Administrator.
  • User support and troubleshooting.
  • Stay current with system enhancements.
  • Assist with ongoing improvement projects, including set up and testing for new features.
  • Assist with developing system reports upon request.
  • Assist with developing and implementing strategies to optimize processes, which may involve redesigning workflows, introducing new technologies, or revising procedures.
  • Provide additional support to various departments to ensure processes are aligned through the organization, facilitating communication and resolving issues.
  • Assist and lead the credit and lending leadership team with key project phases such as initiation, planning, testing, execution, monitoring, and closure.
  • Collaborate with appropriate team members to design, develop and deliver end-user documentation in both technical and user-friendly language, including procedures.
  • Research and troubleshoot issues when they arise.
  • Prioritize and escalates issues by working with team members and/or external vendors to resolve.
  • Assist credit and lending team with training include: Train users in new or updated processes Provide ongoing support and troubleshoot any issues users encounter with processes.
  • Provides back up when needed for any departmental functions.
  • Remain current on all areas of lending regulations.
  • Actively maintain a working knowledge of systems and procedures.
  • Maintains courteous and effective communication with internal and external customers.
  • Maintains confidentiality, ensuring client privacy.
  • Complies with all rules and regulations associated with lending.
  • Perform duties related to the Bank Secrecy Act under the guidance of the BSA Officer.
Skills and Abilities Required to Perform Essential Job Functions

  • Proficient computer literacy, including comfort with Microsoft systems and Office Suite.

Education, Experience and Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Business Administration, a related field, or a 3+ years commensurate combination of education and experience in lieu of a degree.
  • 1+ years of data analysis experience.
  • 1+ years of experience, with understanding of lending operations and related controls required.
  • Experience in Abrigo Sageworks preferred.
Physical Requirements of Essential Job Functions

The associate is frequently required to sit and/or stand, communicate, reach, and manipulate objects, tools or controls that are typical of an office/bank environment. Lifting items weighing up to 10 pounds on a consistent basis. Manual dexterity and coordination are required over 80% of the work period while operating equipment such as computers, phones, calculators, etc. Weekend and evening work will be required.

Working Conditions

Typical office environment. Extended viewing of computer screens. Periodic travel between locations. Regular office hours are Monday through Friday from 8 am-5 pm. Occasional weekend and evening work may be required.
