Job summary

JPMorganChase seeks a senior Credit Strategy leader for Chase Auto, reporting to the Credit Strategy Officer as VP. You will guide credit policy, oversee high-value exposures, and shape underwriting standards across the portfolio.

You will partner with Risk, Underwriting, Finance, Legal, and senior leaders to balance growth with governance and regulatory compliance, while mentoring a team of credit professionals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, economics or related field.
• 7+ years of progressive experience in consumer lending, credit strategy, underwriting or portfolio risk management.
• Strong independent judgment on complex credit decisions and deep credit risk expertise.

Responsibilities

• Lead evaluation of complex and high-value consumer credit exposures, aligned with risk appetite and underwriting standards.
• Monitor portfolio performance and emerging risk trends; develop mitigation strategies to protect asset quality and returns.
• Shape and evolve credit policies, underwriting guidelines, and risk management frameworks for sustainable growth.
• Advise on complex credit transactions, providing sound recommendations to senior stakeholders.
• Collaborate with Risk, Underwriting, Legal, Finance, and Business partners to align credit strategy with objectives.
• Lead and mentor a team, fostering technical capability and talent development.
