Our Corporate Headquarters is hiring a Non-QM Credit Standards Underwriter.

Note: ALL REMOTE POSITIONS REQUIRE A DOWNLOAD SPEED OF AT LEAST 50 MBPS.

Job Title: Non-QM Credit Standards Underwriter

Reports To: Credit Standards Manager

FLSA Status: Non-exempt

Division: TPO

Salary Range: $95K to $115K per year

Summary: Responsible for assisting in ensuring staff underwrites loans according to guidelines, company policies, and procedures, while maintaining excellent customer service.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Conduct second-level reviews of loans for new and existing underwriters, providing feedback within SLAs.
• Provide loan-level feedback during reviews and assist with guidelines, programs, and LOS usage.
• Onboard, mentor, and train new underwriting and PFQC team members on guidelines, policies, procedures, and LOS.
• Collaborate with post-closing and leadership to resolve investor suspenses and guide underwriting teams.
• Assist in testing new LOS functionalities.
• Occasionally analyze mortgage files manually to ensure compliance and salability of loans.
• Maintain thorough knowledge of Non-QM, TPO, and NDC guidelines and policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
