Job summary

The Cato Corporation is seeking a Part Time Credit Service Representative to support customer inquiries on eCommerce orders and Cato credit accounts. Under supervision, you will assist with billing, authentication decisions, and payment collection while maintaining compliant procedures.

Ideal candidates have prior customer service experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to work under pressure.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Previous telephone and customer service experience preferred.
• Retail and collection experience beneficial.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with a courteous telephone voice.

Responsibilities

• Respond to customer and store inquiries about eCommerce billing, tracking, and orders.
• Respond to inquiries about Cato Credit Card Account.
• Provide prompt and accurate authorization decisions.
• Perform maintenance and monetary transactions on credit accounts.
• Follow FDCPA guidelines and privacy regulations to obtain payments.
• Handle calls and emails promptly and assist with applications.
