You will lead risk frameworks, build analytics, and collaborate with product and engineering to steward risk strategies across the customer lifecycle. This is a remote‑first role with offices in San Jose and Draper, offering strong benefits.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in fraud or credit risk strategy within fintech, ecommerce, or online payments.
• Proficiency in SQL and Python with large, complex datasets.
• Ability to use statistics and data science to solve complex problems and drive data‑driven decisions.
• Excellent communication to convey results to technical and business leaders.
• Hands-on experience with developing and deploying data‑driven monitoring rules.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development, maintenance, and refinement of risk strategy frameworks and complex rules.
• Build advanced SQL/Python scripts, interpret results, and influence decisions.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and operations to identify opportunities and guide execution across the customer lifecycle.
• Develop dashboards and monitoring tools (e.g., Tableau) for clear, actionable insights.
• Identify opportunities to optimize processes and detect evolving risk trends.
• Mentor junior team members to support their growth.
