Job summary

CliftonLarsonAllen Wealth Advisors, LLC (CLA) is seeking a Senior Associate to join the Credit Risk team. The role supports credit risk consulting engagements, analyzes borrower financials, and coordinates fieldwork to ensure timely delivery.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor's in accounting/finance, have 2 years of relevant experience, and are willing to travel locally and overnight. Proficiency with Pfx Engagement and MS Office is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; combination of relevant experience may be accepted.
• 2 years of relevant experience required; degree preferred.
• Frequent local travel with regular (>20%) overnight travel is expected.
• Understand internal software systems including Pfx Engagement; proficiency with MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Manage tasks specific to loan review or other engagements as directed by the lead loan reviewer or CLA credit risk team members.
• Prepare and analyze borrower financial statements for inclusion in the loan review process.
• Coordinate the timely completion of fieldwork.
• Review and/or assist in the preparation of credit review reports.
• Provide ongoing technical assistance support to clients.
• Assist in business development and strategic activities in the credit management area.
• Assist in establishing and maintaining relationships with key bank executives and directors.
• Keep abreast of the latest banking industry, accounting and credit review developments.

This role assists on credit risk consulting engagements for clients, while building client relationships and assuring continued close personal attention to client needs. They are also responsible for training and coaching new staff members in preparation to take on more complex assignments and additional engagements. **Job Description:*** Managing tasks specific to the loan review or other engagement as directed by the lead loan reviewer or other CLA credit risk team members.* Preparing and analyzing borrower financial statements for inclusion in the loan review process.* Coordinating the timely completion of fieldwork.* Reviewing and/or assisting in the preparation of credit review reports.* Providing ongoing technical assistance support to clients.* Assisting in the completion of other engagements/special projects or duties as assigned.* Providing administrative support to the credit risk services line, as needed.* Assisting in the firm’s business development and strategic activities in the credit management area.* Assisting in establishing and maintaining relationships with key bank executives and directors.* Working with CLA team members and clients to address credit review issues that may arise.* Keeping abreast of the latest banking industry, accounting and credit review developments through ongoing formal and self-education **Education/Experience:*** ***Education:*** Bachelor's degree is required.
